Liberalism – Re-emergence of Neo-Jahiliyyah

To the uninitiated, Jahiliyyah is commonly (but fallaciously) held to represent the uncivilised age before/during the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Where worship of multiple gods, a debauched society, a vicious cycle of human slavery and social injustice and degradation of women were the hallmarks of the ignorant and misguided way of living.

The above is the Jahiliyyah of the 7th Century.

But the truth of the matter is that Jahiliyyah was not exclusive to that era. It is still alive and thriving well in the 20th Century. However it has evolved into a different yet subtle form – that of systems, values and ideologies.

And mankind was never a stranger to these forms of Neo-Jahiliyyah. The physical form was only a temporary host for sinister agenda which originated from the defiance of Satan and ultimately its eviction and expulsion from the pleasure of the Creator.

And it has its partner too – human desires, as it is commonly understood.

The Jahiliyyah of the 20th Century is represented by many ideologies, systems and values which aimed to enslave humankind into a servitude to other than the Creator of mankind. The accomplice to this treacherous scheme is the Self (Nafs), when freed from the natural mode of submission to the path of God, inevitably will shakle the mind and physical body of man to the realm of rejecting anything which originates from the Creator or sanctioned by the same Supreme Being.

Thus we observe the repeated attempts (and failures) of mankind to provide his other fellow human beings with a man-made and desire-inspired way of life, morality, economics, social interaction and “spirituality”.

On the pretext of attaining prosperity, completeness, happiness, equality and distribution of rights and opportunities, mankind experienced with Communism, Socialism, Capitalism, Marxism, Fascism, Secularism and the current brand in the human slave market – Liberalism.

It has its proponents, ideologues, institutions, endless funding, research centres, legionnaires, commanders and foot soldiers (plus cybertroopers too!).

However, Jahiliyyah will take different forms and names to suit the local realities, to enable it to adjust and ultimately capture the mind of the common people and captivate the imagination of the youth and intelligentsia.

Human desire play its part extremely well too, by portraying the choice of Jahiliyyah in exuberant colours, attractive ornaments, tantalising imagery and lustful longings. All pleasing to the already enshackled mind and spirit.

Any attempts to free this mind, body and spirit from the enslavement of Jahiliyyah will be immediately countered and ferociously resisted with the full force of its arsenal.

Nobody is indispensable and nothing is taboo in the eyes and strategy of Jahiliyyah. The opponents of Jahiliyyah will be mercilessly attacked – through character assassination, misinformation and disinformation, spinning of truths, threats and deceptions. It will utilise all media – printed and virtual and run down its opponents also through Facebook, Twitter, blogs, websites, portals, Whatsapp, Telegram, talks, lectures, forums, discussions, dialogs and countless other methods. Morality and respect for the opponent will be recklessly disregarded – for Jahiliyyah will crush these values in its struggle for supremacy and dominance.

Political parties, NGOs, leaders, academicians and “civil society” movements – all will be recruited and mobilised to confront and crush the Islamic Resistance. All means and strategy (moral or otherwise) will be utilised. It is also immaterial whether or not the word “Islam” is attached to any political party or NGO. It cared less whether the bonds of friendship of brotherhood will be torn asunder.

No Islamic country will be spared, and no Muslim community will be left alone.

Should one strategy or approach fails, Jahiliyyah will always devise, refine and propagate a fresh replacement.

That was the sworn undertaking by the Devil since time immemorial.

Today, Liberalism is merely new name representing the entrapment of the Devil (Talbis Al Iblis).

It is Jahiliyyah reincarnate.

And it has reached our doorsteps!
